Chili's

After a long day of shopping at Phoenix Market City , we decided to check out Chili's Bar and Grill as it was in the mall premises only and we were in the mood for some Tex-Mex.

The interiors of the Chili's are very vibrant. There are posters on the wall and some peculiar artifacts hanging from the ceiling giving you a feel of the suburban American bar and restaurant.

Chili’s has one of the best Mexican food menu in Pune. You can get classic Mexican dishes from Taco, quesadillas to sizzling fajitas.  They have a well-stocked bar and have a lots of cocktails and mocktails to choose from. There are also pastas, burgers and other kinds of delicious Southwest American main course.

For starters, we ordered a platter of Cheese poppers, deep fried quesadillas and  corn and jalapeno fritters.
All of them were really well prepared and were served with 3 different dips. The dips were fresh and really enhanced the flavor. My favorite was the Cheese popper, so much molten cheese in every bite of it.

We also ordered a watermelon based mocktail, the drink was refreshing and came in a huge conical glass

We had the mushroom jack sizzling fajita for main course. It was served on a hot iron skillet and consisted of cottage cheese topped with molten cheese and mushrooms on a bed of onions and bell peppers. It was served with Pico de gallo ,mixed cheese, fresh guacamole, sour cream, shredded lettuce and hot flour tortillas. The fajita was delectable and the portions were quite generous.

The staff at Chili's was very polite and attentive and were well informed about the items on the menu and the service was quick. The prices at Chili's are on the steeper side and the place is a bit overpriced but the whole experience at Chili's is really good and worth a try..
