Discovery of Taste with Le Meridien and Food Adda
Le Meridien Pune in association with Food Adda organized a Cook Off , Discovery of Taste with Master Chef Roberto Boggio. The cook off was held at Favola, winner of the Times Food Award for best Italian restaurant in Pune for the past three years.
The purpose of the event was to create awareness about authentic Italian cuisine and how it can be prepared easily at home too. The cook off focused on cuisines from Lombardy,the northern region of Italy. The dishes to be taught were Risotto, Ossobuco (Lamb Shank with Gremolada) and a dessert, Budino al cioccolato (Sinful chocolate Lava cake) and these same delights were for lunch too.
Chef Roberto also shared some tips that should be used in daily household cooking to get the best out of ingredients at your disposal. His dynamic personality kept the audience engaged throughout the afternoon. He later addressed the attendee's queries regarding the preparation and presentation of food.
The response to the cook off was overwhelming and now the Le Meridien and Food Adda team are thinking of covering each and every region of Italy in a series of such events. We look forward to such an amazing event in the near future. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
